It also helps keep my scalp from drying out too much in the extreme cold. This formulation gives great moisture without weighing my hair down. I use this with the matching conditioner and hair oil - IF it is available. It is gentle enough for daily use.One thing I will add... when I was extremely ill, it kept my hair from showing the rigors of being sick. This is a great product - do try this. If you need more "power" for hair repair, then try the other options.
