The downside for some could be that you have to apply it a bit more than other products. Here's how I do it: 1) Wet my hair a bit. 2) Scoop a good chunk of this pomade. 3) Apply it through out the hair and massage the hair properly. 4) Style my hair backward into a slick back look using a comb. 5) This step is optional, use a blow drier to dry my hair an heat the Pomade on it (doing this will help me evenly spread the Pomade on my hair), during this phase I comb my hair on front. 6) Reapply a bit of pomade on my hair using the whole surface of my palm. 7) Comb my hair back and there I go with a slick back.
