It was prescribed for me by my functional medicine physician. She told me to look at it as food as it is a whole food supplement. It's the only supplement like this that I've ever been able to tolerate. It doesn't upset my stomach, constipate me, or have any other Side effects except that they help me feel really good! **Q: How come the price increased so much since the last time I ordered** A: there was a price increase from the manufacturer **Q: I noticed this product contains green tea. Does that mean the product contains caffeine?** A: I just checked the label. There's no mention of caffeine whether it's there or not. It was prescribed for me when I was diagnosed with hashimoto as one of four supplements. Wish I had the answer for you.
