Ideal for commercial spaces needing reliable, local entry notifications with easy installation and low maintenance. ## Description The Safeguard Supply ERA-PIR-SPK is a motion activated door announcer with a built-in speaker designed for commercial entrances. This self-contained PIR sensor detects movement and heat, triggering a chime sound directly from the unit when someone enters the monitored zone. The included mounting bracket allows the lens to be adjusted up to 160 degrees to optimize coverage and reduce false triggers from high-traffic areas. It features three selectable chime sounds and four adjustable volume levels up to 95 dB. The unit runs on one 9V battery (not included) and includes a low battery indicator. No wiring or separate receiver is required. Common applications include retail store customer entry alerts, restaurant door monitoring, office entrances, convenience stores, and any location where immediate local notification is preferred over a separate receiver system. Review: parfait Review: Works like a charm - I have an art gallery with a class room space at the back of the store. I need to be able to hear if someone comes in the front door while I'm in the back. This doorbell does the trick. It also lets anyone with bad intentions (shop lifter) know that we are aware of their presence coming into and leaving the store. Love that too. I installed it myself in 5 minutes. Buy it. ## Features - Motion activated door announcer with built-in speaker that chimes immediately when customers enter the monitored area.
