You connect it to your computer and it looks like a flash drive. I created a folder on my computer that I put doorbell sounds in. Then I cut out the sounds that came with this, storing them there, just in case. Then I uploaded the doorbell sounds I wanted. Easy as pie.Also, the doorbell button doesn't require batteries. I assume it's piezoelectric, which means it translates the mechanical energy of pressing the doorbell button into enough electricity to send a signal to the receiver. No batteries to replace, and the button is rated at 200,000 presses before failure.Con: Whoever "wrote" the manual didn't speak English. They probably ran it through Google Translate and published that. It's not difficult for a tech to figure out, but if you aren't a tech, find a tech friend before you buy it. For example, the procedure to link the doorbell button to the receiver is very like the procedure to link two Bluetooth devices together. (In fact it may be Bluetooth, not that I am claiming it is.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy to install and great price *by C***U on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2017* recently, many families in our neighborhood had issues with missing packages, and since we live in a 3-floor complex, plus we spend most of our time on the 3rd floor, we often missed the doorbell for our deliveries. To prevent our package got lost, getting a wireless doorbell is the easiest solution to us. Ironically, my first order of this doorbell was stolen...anyways, i got the replacement and installed it right away. i have to say, the installation is piece of cake, which is a plus for a non-tecky housewife like me. the doorbell comes in 8-levels of volume and 32 types of ringtones and many other good features that I wasn't aware at the time of purchase. my only complaint is the font size on the installation manual, they were so tiny I had to use a magnifying glass. Please print them bigger! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ cheap, but it works, and customizable *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2019* Pros:- can add your own mp3 for true customization- no batteries, even in the transmitter- cheapNeutrals (observations that may be helpful for others to know, but weren't terrible):- transmitter takes more force to press than normal for battery-powered doorbells - I haven't seen if any visitors can't get it to work due to confusion yet- transmitter is large - if you have a tight doorway it might not fitCons:- cheap construction - on main body, round central button cover came off. It popped back in, but I'm unsure if it might totally break at some point- poor quality speaker - it's loud, but low fidelity- USB connection was finnicky - I had to unplug/replug a few times in order to get it to show up properly- instruction booklet came only in Chinese, not EnglishOverall, it works, and the customization is a great feature. Worth my purchase price of $15 if I get a couple years out of it before it breaks. It's one of the few wireless doorbells that allows the user to add mp3s currently on Amazon.
