For example, my dog who is 90lbs gets two pills 1 time. I can repeat that after 30 days. **Q: How many mg are the tablets?** A: Each tablet has 114mg Pyrantel Pamoate and 114mg Praziquantel Tablets are for medium/large dogs greater than 25 lbs. Tablet size is about the size of a time with the thickness of an aspirin, if that's any help. **Q: How many doses are included?** A: It comes with two pills but the doses you are going to use depends on your dog's weight. Which is it?** A: They are sold in two count, six, and twelve. Additionally, they are sold as 3 and seven way wormers. The ONLY medication that treats tapeworm is Praziquantel. And when you take your dog’s stool into the Vet, guess what they don’t test for Tapeworm. Who knew? I live out in the “sticks”. My dogs don’t have flea’s but, they eat everything out of the as# end of “nature”, it’s their Pate! This is the least expensive way to treat for Tapeworm if your dog has exposure. If your dog shares a home with cats, cat’s are more prone to fleas? Thus your dog and cat should be treated. I treat my 3 GSD’s every 3 weeks with these chewables and buy from whichever retailer has best pricing. It’s gone up about $10-15 for the 12 count (med-lrg) in last 6 mos. Mine need 3 tablets, every 3 wks, you do the math. I don’t find one treatment works on Hookworm. They, and other parasites don’t play fair. If you bought property that was Equestrian or you own horses, your outdoor pets have hookworm exposure. The Pyrantel Pamoate is available in suspension, no RX custard flavor, dogs love it (cats? ) and since people can get hookworm (no not yet) the custard flavor is usually human grade. Dosing by weight. I follow up the 7 way with the PP and stool test in rotation. Meaning one dog every 6 mos, unless there are other signs. Foot chewing, dull coat, wanting to eat excessively, mucosal/soft stool or diarrhea and you see parasites. Read! Read! Read! Ask your Vet. Don’t believe we’ll meaning people online (here, FB…). You are responsible for that heartbeat, educate yourself. I did put my guys on a topical flea it’s affordable and I apply 15 days apart from their Revolution (Heartworm). Revolution treats several parasites in addition to Heartworm prevention and mites. Heartworm is completely different “animal”, absolutely not optional to treat. Far more affordable choices than mine. Both cats and dogs must be on a preventative! Dogs eat all kinds of things and can get worms. Two of my dogs had the diarrhea years ago and after a large vet bill, the vet just prescribed expensive dewormers, which I found here on Amazon, MUCH cheaper!
