When it came it was clearly a returned unit as it had been opened and was non-professionally repacked. It appeared the reason it had been returned was due to the fact one of the drawers would not open. I was able to get it open and it was stuck due to the internal dividers coming loose and blocking the drawer (obviously knocked around upside down during shipping).The quality of the wood work and finish was good but not outstanding. I expected something a bit nicer for the price. The problem with it once I got it open was that it had clearly been stored in a very damp place. The bottom of the drawers and some of the velvet lining had large round mold growths.
