Safco Two-Tier Folding Chair Cart contains two racks for storing up to 84 folding metal chairs (chairs not included). Commercial-grade steel provides stability and strength while a black powder coat finish helps reduce chipping and scratching for long-lasting use. I had already read that the plastic chairs didn't work, but I had the metal type in the picture and some of them didn't work either. I can't confirm all the brands that are compatible, but the cross bar connecting the legs at the back has to be several inches off the ground. Otherwise, the chair will hang too low. I had four different brands of metal chairs and two of them weren't compatible with this device.

I chose this one because the arms that hold the chairs were a bit longer. Glad I did. Fully loaded, this dolly holds 96 chairs and rolls smoothly once loaded. It shipped in a very heavy duty cardboard container and arrived without a scratch and with all parts inside. If I need another I will happily order the same dolly again from this manufacturer.

**Q: How many lifetime chairs will it hold?**
A: WARNING, this chair cart IS NOT REALLY COMPATIBLE with Lifetime chairs. Lifetime chairs are the relatively newer style folding chairs with white molded plastic seats/backs and metal legs that you've probably seen at the big box stores. These chairs are very popular due to their more modern appearance and lighter weight materials. BUT THEY ARE TALLER THAN TRADITIONAL METAL FOLDING CHAIRS, and because of that this Safco 4199BL folding chair cart cannot accomodate a full rack of LIFETIME chairs. I just finished assembling this item and testing this out. I can fit 6 lifetime chairs on each set of 3 rungs across the bottom (so 18 chairs per side on the bottom rungs), but the top rungs are about 6 inches too low to add another row of LIFETIME chairs across the top rungs. This rack might work for you if you have metal folding chairs across the top and LIFETIME chairs on bottom, but do not plan to store LIFETIME chairs on the top rungs of this cart.

**Q: What is the total height of the product once the chairs are on it?  From the tips of the chairs that are hanging on the top row to the floor.**
A: The unit is 70.2 in H after its assembled. The total height once chairs are on it will depend on the length of the leg of the chair.

**Q: once full does this fit through a standard door?**
A: It does fit easily through a 36" door as long as two people are guiding the front and rear.  It can be a little tricky if one person tries to maneuver it, however I am able to move the cart through a 36" opening and our floor is carpeted.  So, all things considered I give it a two thumbs up!

**Q: are there covers for the racks?**
A: No cover and the first one we ordered was missing a bunch of parts.  It is really big and bulky.

Product is well built and very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Main thing to check is the chair compatibility. The directions say that it is best to put together with two people but, with the assistance of a couple folding chairs for balance, I was able to put it together by myself. It is well constructed; solid and sturdy. The only downside is that it's a little heavy to move on carpeting when it's loaded up, but it does move and it doesn't feel like it's going to tip over.
