**Q: does this pump require a foot valve?**
A: My well has a foot/check valve located at 20 ft in order to hold prime.

**Q: What is the Max head on this system?**
A: It’s about 25 feet.

**Q: Can this pump be plugged into a Honda 2200i generator when on 115 volts?**
A: Thank you for your interest in Red Lion products.  No, this will not work with a Honda 2200i.  According to the specs found online, the max output for the general is 2200 Watts and it's rated for 1800 Watts.  This pump produces 2680 Watts.  If you have a larger generator, another thing to consider is that this pump does not come with a plug, so you would have to purchase and attach the plug to the unit.  If you require further information, please contact our Technical Support line at 1.888.885.9254.

**Q: can this be used for potable water?**
A: Yes, I have this pump and use it for potable water to supply both my cabin and camper during the summer months. Since I use it seasonally I run a bleach treatment at the beginning of the summer season to ensure that the pump is clean.
