I compared this to the original adapter that came with my 2013 MacBook Pro. Normally, the serial number is printed underneath the North American-styled plug portion of the charger. Its a real shame since it was sold and shipped by Amazon.com **Q: Is this for both the 13" and 15" MBP w/Retina?** A: This is sized for the 15" laptop, but will also work for the 13" - the higher watt rating means it won't work as hard for the 13". I have several of these and they work fine for our 13" as well as the 15". **Q: How long is the cord?** A: The thicker cord that goes into the wall outlet is 6' and the thin cord that goes to the computer is 5' 6" **Q: Does this come with the extension cable?
