Thank you** A: It depends on how bad they are. My dining room table sat n a fixed spot for 6 yrs. It did a credible job bringing those fingers up. Perfect? No, but livable. To get best results it takes many rakings. I raked my carpet when I was shampooing it 2 or 3 Xs. I might have been more successful had I tried again. They are just fuzzy enough to trap hair so the vacuum won't pull it up. Will this work?** A: I believe that it will. It has pulled hair and debris from pretty thick carpet pile. You probably would need a way to hold the mat in place while you use it though. **Q: Does this work on long human hair, my hair be falling out on carpet** A: Thank you for your inquiry. If it can do my entire house then it’s money well spent! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fluffs carpet, sort of removes hair *by E***H on April 24, 2026* This works pretty good, though I am still suspicious of the plastic tines. It is a lot of work to get hair up, you have to go over the same areas multiple times. I put it up against my rubber bristled carpet rake today and I wrote about it later in this review. For some context, I have very long hair and it sheds constantly. I have carpeted stairs and three carpeted bedrooms and it's almost impossible to get the hair pulled up without a vacuum that has a spinning beater brush. The beater brush gets tangled up. I've burnt out motors on vacuums before so I never feel good about posting up big money for a proper large vacuum that might be able to handle it. I also don't have the strength, or the space for a big hog of a vacuum. I have a little cordless vacuum and while I am diligent about cleaning out the beater brush, it's not enough because my hair is long, and thick, and there is too much of it! I totally obliterated the brush on my newest little cordless and I am so sad. I already have one of those rubber bristled carpet rakes, and I had been using it but it is EXHAUSTING trying to use it to pull the hair out of the carpets before doing a proper vacuum. I have a little tiny canister vacuum that has been running strong since the day I bought it, but using it on the carpets is the same sweeping raking struggle to pull up the hair. So i thought I would save on the noise and electricity of a vacuum by using carpet rakes first. It takes so much effort. Today I used this Roberts carpet rake and then I used my rubber bristle rake. The Roberts rake can skim over the top of the carpet easier, with less struggle, than the rubber bristle brush. It also actually lifts up the carpet fibers (my carpets are very dense, but they are old and have been in this house since the 80s at least) so it's kind of nice to walk over the floor and experience it being lofty and bouncy before it quickly packs back down, haha But it seems like the rubber bristle rake actually pulls up more hair, like it can get a better grip on it and hold on. I went back over the same area I had already done about 3 times with the Roberts and pulled out significantly more hair (it's depressing that there is that much of my dang hair in the rug, how am I not bald yet? I do this regularly!) So, I don't know. It is easier to use, but you have to work it longer to get everything up. I was hoping to get rid of the rubber rake, but I think I'll have to keep both.
