It's actually not a yurt, but we call it a yurt because it sounds cool. I included a string of lights with a timer to go off in the evening. Be sure you get some lights for this baby because it adds to the milieu. We have three kitties and they've been very democratic in sharing the yurt. This yurt includes a thick cushion and even without instructions as to construction, anyone should be able to figure it out.
