Review: High quality and reliable for quiet tree stand setups - I use this strap primarily for hunting from a tree stand, and it has worked perfectly for my setup. I attach it to an eyelet and connect my tree stand harness to the carabiner, which helps keep everything secure while preventing any metal-on-metal noise. Build quality: The strap looks and feels durable, with solid stitching and a strong clasp. The materials seem high quality and built to last even with frequent outdoor use. Performance: It holds firm without slipping or creaking, and it stays quiet when I shift or adjust my position. That makes a big difference when you are trying to stay undetected in the stand. Overall: A simple, well-made piece of gear that does its job reliably. Great for anyone who wants a quiet, sturdy connection point for their harness setup. Highly recommend it for tree stand hunters or similar outdoor uses.
Review: A well-made, UIAA certified sewn nylon sling for anchors and other climbing uses - I was a little skeptical about these at first. I saw a one-star review claiming that the slings weren't really UIAA-certified. I had no trouble finding them in the UIAA database and they have been certified since 2019 and just got a renewed certification Jan 1, 2026. The product number on the slings I received matches the certificate (GM1602). So that settles that question. It's getting harder to find nylon slings since a lot of manufacturers are focused on dyneema or aramid these days. What I really like about these besides the great price: I can get different colors of the same length sling to make tying a quad for a top-rope anchor easy and fool proof. Many manufacturers use specific colors for specific lengths that forces you use two slings of the same color for a quad. So clipping onto two stands of the shelf risks being on just one of the two slings (no redundancy). If you know, you know.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the length measured when its in half like in the picture of the 1 or 3 options, or is it the length all the way around?**
A: This is the length of the loop lying flat, not the circumference of the circle formed by the loop. In this case, a 30cm (12 inches) loop would have a circumference of 60cm (24 inches). Expressed another way, if you cit the 30 cm loop you would have a strap 60cm long.

**Q: Can this be used for rock climbing anchors?**
A: Yes. It's rated 22 kn, which is just slightly less than a carabiner. These are designed for rock climbing runners, designed to take a fall when used with a dynamic belay.

**Q: Can this be used to tie a Swiss seat**
A: If you're going to tie a Swiss seat, the stuff to use is 2 or 3 inch wide webbing i.e., seat belt webbing. My favorite is the mil-spec nylon webbing used on aircraft tie-down straps. Find a CGU-1/B cargo strap on Ebay or from www.skygeek.com and cut out the 20' of 5000 lb capacity webbing. Better still, just buy a simple adjustable harness without padding and gingerbread - the kind used by guide services. DMM makes one called the "alpine." (Back in the day, the climbers actually cut the seat belts out of cars although that would have a been at a time when many cars didn't even have seat belts to begin with.) Another option still is to tie a webbing swami belt and use some cannibalized leg loops.

**Q: Is this product ansi certified?**
A: It is EN (European Norm) certified as a climbing anchor. That's what the EN566 means.
