Dead giveaway imo. I just assume the worst when a seller/maker fails to list the COO. Because for decades corps have not only known their customers want higher quality USA, Japan or German made products but they also know we don't want China-Mexico crappyola. Meaning? By listing a better COO its the best/cheapest advertisement there is today. They get asked where their products made every day so they'd proudly display a good COO & hide the bad ones where possible. Amazon should force each listing to fill in COO but thats helping buyers which they no longer do. **Q: What exactly does this do that others dont?** A: What it does it lock on to the zerk/grease fitting. You don't need to hold it on. No more mess anywhere. It's really worth the money. When you work on cars & those grease fitting are in weird areas (tie rod end between tire & strut) you can use 1 hand & not make a mess. 1 hand on grease gun to hold it & the other hand to pump it in. Great concept. **Q: Will valve release from a pressure locked zerk?** A: It is a mechanical lock to the grease zerk. Mechanically it can released with the lever. Regular grease couplers are spring loaded and release by pulling and release by over coming pressure of the grease, if any. So far they have released, sometimes with a little extra thumb pressure. Good question. **Q: Does this 2nd gen version have a smaller barrel diameter (5/8") to fit tighter recessed fittings? Or is it still 3/4" dia.?** A: The main barrel is larger than 5/8", probably closer to 11/16", but less than 3/4". No issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by U***L on February 9, 2026* This is a great product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaks all over *by S***N on July 6, 2024* Maybe I've totally lost all practical sense for using tools, but unless I apply pressure to the fitting, the grease goes everywhere but into the zerk. In other words,the locking mech doesn't do anything and I've been having to use it like any ordinary coupling. I've tried turning the tip of it thinking it might be an adjustment, but it didn't do anything, it seems to be free spinning. The zerks I tried were clean and free and both took grease from a standard coupling with no issue. Also, this locking coupler is enormous for most practical applications. Zerks are never placed for easy access it seems. After reading other reviews I'm second guessing myself and will try it again. Some suggest that there is adjustment, maybe I didn't turn it enough times. I'm giving 4 stars because I think it's downfalls are more just my personal opinion and preferences. The unit is well built and has a good amount of mass indicating it's made from good material.
