I didn't know this until I bought this box of chalk with the chalk holder...that's right, a CHALK HOLDER. Excellent development in the world of chalk that I like very much. Now I don't have to get the moisture sapping chalk on my winter dry fingers and suffer the discomfort every time I want to scrawl something on the family chalkboard. The reason I ordered this Office Square chalk was because we couldn't find chalk at the store that wrote easily on the chalkboard. We got this set and it writes easily, in a bright manner and still erases when we use the dry eraser that came with the board. It doesn't produce a bunch of dust, so erasing doesn't create a huge mess. The holder is easy to use and holds the chalk tight enough that it doesn't shift if I have a lot to write.
