Last May I had been so sick for 2 years, that I only left my house to run necessary errands due to lack of energy. I was so exhausted that I spent a good deal of my time lying on the couch. I had no social life to speak of, because I could only be away from home for a limited time before fatigue set in. I read a book called Eat Dirt, changed my diet, and drank a serving of this bone broth mixed in my tea twice a day. I could almost feel an improvement in my gut as I would drink the tea. The results were amazing. Within 2 weeks I drove a friend an hour away and toured an old manor house for 4 hours in the heat of day, then drove an hour back home. I could not of dreamed of doing that 2 weeks prior. I continued with this broth and new diet and was able to travel to Europe doing walking tours for 10 days. Then after 10 months, I somehow got out of the routine of drinking the bone broth, but kept my diet the same. Within 2 months, I was experiencing a serious decline in my health again. I also noticed that my hair had started to look lackuster in comparison to how it had been while I was drinking the bone broth. So I took it easy and began drinking this bone broth twice a day again for the last week or so, and I am starting to feel the recovery. I have way more energy, and I am able to do more things outside of my home. It is a little hard to dissolve. I make hot tea and let it cool till it’s warm. Then I dump a scoop in, and I use a big spoon to sort of smash it onto the sides until it’s all or almost all the way dissolved. It has a little bit of foam on top, which I don’t mind. But if you leave it sit a little, it will dissipate. I add a little stevia, stir, and drink it down. I do not mind the taste at all. It mostly tastes like a cup of tea, but a little different. First let me say that I am in my 70s and have the usual nutrition needs for someone my age. But, was I surprised by the amazing results that I have experienced with Basix Bone Broth. I have used many products to amp up my protein intake, and was skeptical at first. Here are some of the most notable benefits of PROTEIN BASIX that I am experiencing after only one month:1. Yes it is hard to mix but I have that figured out after watching the video. You pour half a cup of hot coffee and mix in a scoop with a wisk and let it settle a little and wisk again. Pour the remaining coffee and wisk. I seriously cannot tell it's in my coffee. You can also let it sit and cool and make iced coffee which I LOVE! Just add half and half and pour over ice. You can add a little stevia if you like it sweet. As for the benefits, I have noticed some improvement in fine lines and also my hair getting thicker. As time goes on I am confident I will see more improvement.
