It's a high pressure tire with decreased rolling resistance while providing a traction filled ride on pavement and other hard surfaces. Review: This tire is garbage! - Tire lacks quality, rubber doesn't seem to be reinforced properly. I've changed several tubes and tires on bicycles and motorcycles and I've never had an experience like this one. The tire stretched and separated from the rim allowing the tube to hemorrhage out and blow up between 50 and 55 PSI, the tire says to inflate to 65 PSI. I had two neighbors check on me because they thought a gun went off in my garage. Review: Buyers beware - Poor quality rubber resulted in the tire over expanding in some areas. I also saw some tire tread in-between the bulged areas. I felt so unsafe with the tire this way because it was resulting in a wobbly ride. I removed the tires and went to a local bike shop. They charged me less for the tires and replaced them in 20 minutes. ## Features - 2 TIRES: 700c x 38 City Slick II Bicycle Tires - 2 TUBES: 700c x 35-40, Schader Valve, 42mm - 2 RIM STRIPS: 27" x 12mm - Rubber for Single Wall Rims - VALVE: Schrader w/Removable Core - 85 PSI - Folding Tire ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09T5B9QMH | | Best Sellers Rank | #602,188 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #3,564 in Bike Tires | | Bike Type | Hybrid Bike | | Brand | TAC 9 | | Brand Name | TAC 9 | | Color | 2 Pack | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 47 Reviews | | Item Diameter | 70 centimeters | | Item Width | 38 millimeters | | Manufacturer | TAC 9 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 700-slick-tube-tire-strip-2pk | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Number | 700-slick-tube-tire-strip-2pk | | Number of Items | 2 | | Size | 700c x 38 | | Tensile Strength | 85 psi | | Tire Type | Clincher | | Tread Type | Semi-Slick | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Warranty Type | Limited | | Wheel Size | 70 centimeters | ## Images ![Bike Tire, 700c x 38 City Slick II Tire, Tube & Rim Strip Bundle - 700 x 38 Bicycle Tire, Tube & Rim Strip - Package Deal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/817vnA8RqFL.jpg) ![Bike Tire, 700c x 38 City Slick II Tire, Tube & Rim Strip Bundle - 700 x 38 Bicycle Tire, Tube & Rim Strip - Package Deal - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81BlfWinE6L.jpg) ![Bike Tire, 700c x 38 City Slick II Tire, Tube & Rim Strip Bundle - 700 x 38 Bicycle Tire, Tube & Rim Strip - Package Deal - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812AKaovFeL.jpg) ![Bike Tire, 700c x 38 City Slick II Tire, Tube & Rim Strip Bundle - 700 x 38 Bicycle Tire, Tube & Rim Strip - Package Deal - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ztPfOlsuL.jpg) ![Bike Tire, 700c x 38 City Slick II Tire, Tube & Rim Strip Bundle - 700 x 38 Bicycle Tire, Tube & Rim Strip - Package Deal - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91j4DKQlf4L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ This tire is garbage! *by A***R on November 3, 2022* Tire lacks quality, rubber doesn't seem to be reinforced properly. ### ⭐ Buyers beware *by R***Y on July 4, 2022* Poor quality rubber resulted in the tire over expanding in some areas. I also saw some tire tread in-between the bulged areas. I felt so unsafe with the tire this way because it was resulting in a wobbly ride. I removed the tires and went to a local bike shop. They charged me less for the tires and replaced them in 20 minutes. ### ⭐ 4 months old and already cracking *by J***N on August 21, 2022* Installed easily enough, but quality is Sub par. After 4 months of use tires already have sidewall cracking. Will be replacing with hopefully better quality. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/434586009-bike-tire-700c-x-38-city-slick-ii-tire-tube](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/434586009-bike-tire-700c-x-38-city-slick-ii-tire-tube) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
