**Q: My pipe is 1"3/4 and I've added a adapter that is 1"3/4 to 2", will this clamp my adapter down on the 1"3/4 side of the adapter?**
A: Yes it should fit 1 3/4 pipe

**Q: Will this cause corrosion on aluminized pipe due to dissimilar metals?**
A: Hi, it is stainless steel, and it will not rust in an ash way.  As for aluminum pipes, the clamp will not cause corrosion on it.

**Q: what is the thickness of this clamp and the diameter of the bolt?**
A: The thickness of the saddle flange is 0.62", and the thinckness of Rod is 0.33". The I.D. of the 2.5 inch U bolt clamp is 2.75", and the O.D. is 3.36".
