Mounted it on the ledge above the brake fluid reservoir with 3 M heavy duty outdoor velcro. Close to the battery and rock solid. This velcro has adhesive that rivals super glue. Be sure you have it where you want it the first time. ( ask me how I know). Ran the wiring in semi rigid loom and connected the ring terminals to the battery bar. Plenty of wire included ( 6 feet each for power and battery wires) . Connected the power cord to a waterproof external receptacle mounted under the vehicle's bumper. Works great, fully automatic. Returns to your last setting for battery type. No need to open the hood and select battery type each time you plug it in. For the quality, it's a bargain. Short trips or long periods of storage in a diesel are hard on batteries and they're expensive. This maintainer is cheap insurance. I plug it in about once a week and it takes about 2 hours to top off the batteries.
