Why is some cat urine undetectable?** A: Wavelengths in a blacklight cause phosphorus and proteins in pet urine to glow, exposing the cause of odors and concealed stains. A low-phosphorus diets will result in a low levels of phosphate in the urine of cats, their urine will be undetectable. **Q: Why the wet urine stain and wet potty pad is not detectable?** A: UV light is only effective for detecting dry pet urine. Fresh urine, urine that is not completely dry may cause the UV light to be very weak or not glow. Allow the pee to completely dry before attempting to identify it with for the brightest glow. **Q: Why I cannot find stains in the room?** A: 1. It works best in a complete dark environment. The darker it is, the better it works; 2. For a few dark color carpets, the reflected stain color may will be very close to the color of the carpet, making it harder to see. **Q: Why the flashlight cannot be turned on when it arrived?** A: Please unscrew the battery compartment and remove the insulator sheet for battery protection before first use. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me gusto mi lampara muy fácil de usar. *by on Reviewed in Mexico 15 August 2021* Muy buen brillo muy útil. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely. Worth the price. Definitely.Pretty cool, *by on Reviewed in Canada 7 September 2024* When I seen this, I thought it was gonna be you too small. I didn't think it would do the job. I thought I was gonna have to buy like a big black light back in the day when I had one. It was like a bulb and big and it had like a switch, and you had to turn it on, and it went like A fluorescent light bulb that was crazy. This is click a button comes with batteries. You just take out the batteries and then a little piece of paper falls out and you put them back in, they're in like a wheel so you can see the top has a spring and the bottom has a spring and you can see where to put them and they're easy to replace. Works great charges up pops like crazy. I took kind of a pop picture that was like right when I was about to turn it off. I thought I turned it off. So, it's kind of not fair, because the this lit it up so much better. I should have took another one but my son was bitching at me to get out of my room and all my other ones. It's too light out right now. To take a picture in my living room with my pops. I have some amazing pops that I brought into his room whenever he wasn't home earlier today and I charged up, I had one that I didn't even think glowed , and Was advertised as glow in the dark, I tried every kind of light, nothing worked. I put this on for 10 seconds. It stayed lit for like 10 minutes. I seen some ones that.Do glowed under regular lights And they worked, I thought, amazing, put up to this. Wow, like seriously. It's that good. Sometimes they don't stay lit for as long but they still light up for a good amount of time and that's like some of them. I've charged them in the dark, and then I took the mode, and they were still glowing in the light. You could still see the glow in the daylight. It was wild best small purchase. I felt they could have used a little less packaging. I've gotten like pop figures, and I mean, like probably 3 or 4 in a box the size they sent me this in, and it's literally like not even 3 inches. And it came with packing paper, I mean, it wasn't anything delicate, I mean, yeah, I guess one of the bulbs could have broke or something, but I highly doubt it. This thing seems pretty strong stable. Has the strap? It's not very big that's kind of my only complaint, but if that's your only complaint, you got a sad life. And so it's not that bad, so.Definitely recommend the seller.Definitely recommend the product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No More Mystery Smells! This Blacklight Exposes All the "Oopsies" *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 March 2026* Okay, so if you're a pet owner, you *know* the struggle. You clean, you sniff, you *think* you've got it all, but then that phantom smell just... lingers. I've been meaning to grab a UV flashlight for ages to really hunt down those invisible pet messes, and this Consciot 12 LED one popped up on Vine at the perfect time.First things first, it's super straightforward. You pop in three AAA batteries (standard stuff, not included) and you're good to go. It feels decent in your hand, not super heavy-duty but definitely not cheap plastic either. It's a comfortable size to hold and maneuver. Now for the important part: the detection! I waited until after dark, turned off all the lights, and went on a mission. And oh boy, did this thing deliver. Within minutes, I found several "invisible" spots on the carpet that I had absolutely no idea were there. They glowed a bright yellowish-green, just like they're supposed to. It was actually a bit horrifying to see everything, but also incredibly satisfying to finally *see* where the problem areas truly were. The 395nm wavelength and 12 LEDs make it quite powerful and cover a good area without being too dim. You don't have to get super close to the floor for it to work its magic.Beyond pet stains, I know these are good for checking for scorpions (thankfully don't have that issue here!), authenticating currency, or even checking hotel rooms for... well, you know. I haven't tried those yet, but for its primary purpose of finding pet stains, it's a winner.Bottom line: If you've got pets and suspect there are some hidden "gifts" on your floors or furniture, this Consciot UV flashlight is a really useful tool. It's easy to use, decently built, and most importantly, it *works*. Now I can actually clean *all* the spots instead of just guessing. Definitely recommend it for any pet parent who wants to be thorough! ## Frequently Bought Together - UV Flashlight Black Light, Consciot 12 LED 395nm Ultraviolet Blacklight, Portable Mini Torch Light Pet Urine Detector for Dog/Cat Urine, Dry Stains, Bed Bug, Matching with Pet Odor Eliminator - ANGRY ORANGE Pet Odor Eliminator for Dog and Cat Urine, Carpet Stains, and Strong Smells – Citrus Cleaner with Natural Orange Oil – 24 oz - Rocco & Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator for Strong Odor, 32oz Enzyme Pet Odor Eliminator for Home, Carpet Stain Remover for Cats & Dog Pee, Enzymatic Cat Urine Destroyer, Carpet Cleaner Spray --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/435755187-uv-flashlight-black-light-consciot-12-led-395nm-ultraviolet-blacklight](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/435755187-uv-flashlight-black-light-consciot-12-led-395nm-ultraviolet-blacklight) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
