I fed friskies cans for $11-12 per case (6-8 wkly) & Science Diet dry at $25/15.5 lb bag. (2a month) Price increased thru the years at reasonable time spans & rates. From 50 cent a can to 60 cent & remained for a long while & was always fair. NOW, I don't know this for a fact, I just know it's true: When AMAZON went from everyones' trustworthy online store to a Global Marketplace, the downhill slide came too fast & is still picking up speed.. Example, now paying for return pickups. Wasn't I paying for PRIME to avoid those annoying rules? Being older than some of the dirt around here, I no longer drive. Nearest ups drop off is over 20 miles. Having my share of bent & exploded cans, I never saw it as reason to stop selling such popular merch. That was an easy fix at warehouse/pkging level.
