I mounted the tube and tire with no problem. It was simple to install on my bicycle. My first impression was that the nuts and threads of the axle had excessive play in the threads. However, it did tighten well and secured the wheel assembly to the frame. The first twenty or so short rides were fine, then the brakes began to fail. As a coaster brake, one should be able to press backward on the pedals and the bike will slow.
