Review: These are the kitchen tools you need! - Great starter set with most of what you need. Here's the backstory...we got rid of an older nylon set when the scary stories about recycled plastics were going around. We replaced them with a silicone set and discovered those absorbed odors especially spices and soap fragrances and quickly were yucky. So we started looking for a new nylon set. These OXOs are sturdy, have a great length, and are balanced. It's also a great price for a good quality set. Avoid the super cheap or be prepared to replace regularly due to snapped handles or heat warped edges. Youll just need to add a ladle and some quality tongs. Highly recommend this OXO set. Keep cooking boss.

**Q: How long are these utensils?**
A: Mine are almost 13.5" long. I love these utensils but personally, I find them a little too long. They fall out of small skillets and pots but work great for large ones.

**Q: Do the oxo name and silver stripe decoration on the handle come off when washing or cooking? Are they metal or silver paper?**
A: They are metal and no, they don't come off.  I've had mine for at least a couple of years and they are still intact. I love this set and use mine all of the time.

**Q: How big are the spoons**
A: 4" x 2.5" x 3/4" deep

**Q: What can i do if they send me two of one item instead of the correct one?**

I ordered these to replace some cheaper items that I had in my kitchen. They are heat resistant, sturdy solid construction, and they have the good grips handle. Very easy to use. The handles are not flexible and the scoops and spoon parts are not made to bend they're made to be used as a solid piece. Good thick plastic and rubber, appear to be scratch resistant and stand up to the dishwasher. Couldn't ask for more. Your mileage may vary thank you for listening
