It is a bit smaller than I imagined -- our cat is quite small and it seems she'll just fit -- so definitely make sure to measure your pet (the company recommended this and gave very clear instructions, but I just was lazy and skipped the step). The small size does have the advantage of being easy to fit with you on a plane, and that may be worth a slightly tight fit. It comes with Velcro attachable pads which is nice because they can easily be removed and washed, and the carrying handle/strap is seems comfortable and convenient.
