Accompanied with a .83” riser for absolute co-witness with most iron sights it is also constructed to work perfectly with our 3X Falcon V1 red dot magnifier. The lenses on the Predator V3 Micro Red Dot Sight has a beautiful red-orange anti-reflection coating housed in a nitrogen injected fog proof aluminum body which is submersible up to 10 meters. A 45-degree offset picatinny rail mount is included with the packaging to allow the shooter to use this as a 1X back-up sight alongside their magnified optics. The red dot is solidly made, even comes with 2 batteries to start off with. It also comes with 2 additional mounting options. The default is the standard mount the second is a riser mount (which you need if you are running the magnifier. The third is a 45 degree off set mount. The magnifier can be mounted in either direction where you can flip it left or right. I chose to flip it to the right as when I sling the rifle the left side is against me. This makes the push button to flip open or closed be on the right and facing forward, not too bad at all. You must push the button to either flip the magnifier open or closed which I prefer to prevent accident deployment or retraction. The American Flag CNC machines into the magnifier is also a nice touch. Make sure you tighten the mounting screws down right and you'll be fine, there is a very very slight wobble in th magnifier but that should be expected since it's a floppy bit designed to move. The hold is sold when closed and doesn't mess with your sighting at all. The wobble is a bit more noticeable when the magnifier is open but that should be expected since it's hanging out in space out of the way, it's only noticable when doing a light jog with the firearm. Over all, very high quality product, life time guarantee and couldn't recommend this product more. So you can either go with the big corporate brand and pay exorbitant prices, or go with a private and veteran owned business at reasonable and fair prices. One caveat of negativity and or warning, when dealing with the Red Dot Sight, is be careful to not unscrew it too much. I accidentally did that and its two springs and nut/bolt popped right off. I lost the nut/bolt that helps secure the dot onto the rail. Takes about 4 1/2' in my pic rail. Assembled is about 7 1/4" above rail on my .223 carbine with pistol grip and adjustable stock. **Q: What kind of battery is needed?** A: Pretty sure it comes with a battery. It should say the kind on the packaging though, or you can look towards the middle of the page with purchased together and it should tell you as well. **Q: Can the magnifier be flipped to the right?** A: You will have to go to the Tacticon website and ask them. I have not yet used this product however I have bought and used another one of their products. It functioned phenomenally with no issues. There are clear and easy instructions for new users. The sights are heavy duty and built to last. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I would recommend this to anyone who is on the fence about buying it.
