I've tried just about every low-carb item on the market with very few passing the taste test. This brand appears to have some experience in the area as the apples & cinnamon oatmeal was good. I will probably order more as I miss having these types of things on my menu of options--and this one surpassed my expectations. It is not pasty or hard as most low carb substitutions have been for me--key is to let it sit for about 1 minute before eating. Let the oats absorb the water. (I used almond milk which probably contributed to the taste) Only reason not a 5 is there is a slight consistency challenge. I presume once I've practiced a bit with the fluid portion of the process this will improve.Nice job BariWise. This one has similar caloric, protein, fat, and carb content, with lots of vitamins, without the price tag you get with MediFast. I liked the taste of it and will buy it again as a result.
