This book is full of the grueling workouts (some of which I already knew and many of which I didn't) dedicated to fallen soldiers/warriors. These workouts are grinders that I save for days off and special occasions. It is great to know the back stories of the fallen heroes and to be able to put faces with the names of the workouts. These workouts and back stories are humbling to say the least. Much respect and admiration to the fallen and their families left behind. Thank you all for your sacrifice.

Knowing the background to the Hero WOD's is very motivating.  It helps me and I think everyone to push a little harder and allows the pain to be more personal.The stories are brief and poignant.  The workouts are explained very clearly.  The info provided in this book should be used before anyone or box performs a Hero WOD.  Great idea Carter.
