I would suggest that you also add ties to it to keep it from flying around too much if you also have a lot of wind as we do. It is meant to move a bit, but it can appear to take off if you don't tether it a bit. My umbrella fell over numerous times. I read the reviews (which were very helpful) most suggested to purchase four h2o/sand weights. As you see in my photo. The weights where approximately a 1/4” to short to lay on the base of the umbrella.Because I could not align the base with the weights, my umbrella kept swaying as if it was going to fall down.I went to the hardware store and purchased four 8” long stakes/screws. I tapped them into the holes in the base. As in my photo. OMG IT WORKED!Suggestion: You might do the stake/screws before investing in the weights.
