I needed something more robust that didn't crush if accidentally stepped on or fall over if bumped. These snap on securely and wont come off even if rebar makes them float. They are strong so they don't crush like the black ones with the round base. The only downside is I could see them sinking in soft material like sand. We mostly use compacted base so no problems there.
