Floor to top of seat is 30 in. **Q: What is the actual color of the seat? True to pic or a little darker? I have one of the same but it's darker than these pics. (mango wood)** A: We ordered three of these. I found the colors to vary between the seats with some lighter/darker. Also some variability in overall seat thickness and chair height.... but was able to return the chair for another that was a better match size wise. **Q: Any rubber in the bottom to avoid damage to wood or tile floor?** A: There's no rubber that comes on it. But I'm sure you could get some stick on things to put on the bottom to avoid that. The holidays were so busy for me that I did not get a chance to begin a return or exchange within the 30 day window, otherwise I would try to exchange one so that they both match a bit better.
