I suspect there is a small number of motorcycles that this will fit really well. My Harley handlebars have a 7" rise...1. The clamping mechanism is quite bulky and must wrap around the entire handlebar. In the area best suited to install right up near the grips, the various control cables for clutch and brake interfere with the clamp.2. Trying to find a different location on the handlebars is problematic in that this unit will only mount exactly vertically, or exactly horizontally. Therefore a sloped or angled handlebar won't work- or rather, this unit does not work on a slope. If it had a variable adjustment from say zero to 90 degrees it could be made to work quite well away from the grips.I saw several reviews about size of cup this will hold, but in examining it I think the 3 1/8 max cup diameter is perfectly adequate. However, trying to fit it on handlebars with any amount of "rise" is likely a pain for most motorcycles. Maybe bicycles work ok, or mounting on luggage guards.I did find the RAM mount were flexible in mounting and better for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Motorcycle Bottle holder. *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2017* I have tried other motorcycle bottle holders, and have not been very happy. This was a surprise how nice this bottle holder mounts, and how stable it is. I had overlooked this holder when I purchased for looks rather than function. So easy to mount no tools required, and very stable, better than others I had spent near double the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent cheap cup holder *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2019* Not a bad cup holder. I like it because it's easy to take off/put on. I only use it for very long trips. (700+ miles in a day) it does slide down with the weight of a water bottle. I wrapped some electrical tape around it to keep It secure. If you're looking for a cup holder to use on occasion, this will work.
