I have semi-permanent knots in my shoulders from stress and working on a laptop all day. This really gets in there and works those knots like a pro. I've thought about putting a silk pillowcase over it to see if that makes it less scratchy but wonder if that will make it less effective. The heat function is lackluster. I was hoping for hot like heating pad hot but it gets just above body temp. I'm not super unhappy about it, but a higher heat setting option would be nice. But for the low price, this is a fabulous piece of equipment! I can do a session on my neck, shoulders and back and feel nearly as loose as a massage and dip in a hot tub.
