This has an acceptable noise level. The weight is not bad. This will turn your vehicles into a different class. I used McGuire's with the blue pad and the results were unbelievable. First time in 13 years I gave it the full treatment. This is a black finish with clear which had lost some of its luster. It corrected the surface and turned it into a mirror. This buffer worked best at a speed between 3 and 4. I would buy this dual action buffer again.
