I tried it first just on my nose and cheeks to see. It works best if you make the mask thicker on the edges which makes it easier to grab and begin peeling. I went slow and it was very easy to peel off with no pain and my skin was very very soft after. After a few more times I realized you don't need a very thick layer for it to work great. I've used it numerous times and still have a lot left. I will definitely reorder once I'm out. I attempted to peel off as directed but was only physically able to get one tiny, VERY PAINFUL strip off my forehead. The rest I had to rub off with a hot washcloth. I like the result, but I can get that without all the pain by using a different product. Also I wasn't able to get it to stay on in an opaque way as the pictures show.
