I see A LOT of people are having the same problem.** A: I've had the exact same issue. Pen had a crack just above the grip; the pen doesn't stay together. Have to keep finding the pieces after it goes flying everywhere. I've bought refills already but I won't be buying anymore after I'm done with the refills. **Q: Are these the cheaper ones made in Mexico or the high quality ones that are made in Japan?** A: The ones I received (May 2020) were made in Mexico. Definitely cheaply made - even the box was falling apart when I received them. One barrel was already cracked. We could attribute that to bad packaging, but my "old favorite", which was made in Japan, would NOT have cracked in shipping. I also noticed right away that the barrel color was different. I've used the ones made in Japan for 20+ years and they were - emphasis on were - my favorite pen. **Q: The title/description says .5 mm needle tip, but the picture shows the larger medium tip. Which is correct?** A: There are 3 options of tip size on the one page- .5mm .7mm and 1mm. Not all sizes are available in all color options and not all color and size combinations are available in the multiple pack quantity options. Whichever size you choose in whichever color opted for will arrive in the pack quantity selected despite what the generic picture depicts as it is only 1 of the many options offered. **Q: Is the ink waterproof?
