Review: Weaponized boredom tool - Flicked it open in a meeting and spent the next hour spinning the bolt back and forth instead of taking notes. That’s the whole point, right? It’s heavy for a pen, all metal, feels like you could use it to defend your lunch in a break room brawl. Texture has grip but won’t chew up your fingers. Doesn’t look like a toy, which helps. Ink’s smooth. Writes like a Pilot G2 because it is a Pilot G2. You’re here for the click and spin. The bolt slide is tight but not crunchy. No rattle. No wiggle. Might loosen up over time but mine hasn’t yet. Says “YES” or “NO” etc when you flick the top spinner. I use it to decide if I’m answering emails or ignoring them. Overkill for a pen. Exactly why I like it.
Review: this is only 20??? --- Please dont raise your price - I don’t leave a lot of reviews, and these days you never know what is accurate. However, I am leaving on for this pen. Its actually really cool. The fidget piece is not intrusive and it spins forever!!! Almost too long hahah. Comes with one cartridge but supports my favorite refills, so its a definite plus. Additionally, it seems to have a glass breaker. Only one con... not pocket clip. But honestly. It can be a desk queen, ill buy another one from this company to go "off desk" If your a pen clicker, like me, and/or you bite your pens, this is a definite win!!!

## Features

- 6061 ALUMINUM BODY & SPIRAL-TEXTURED GRIP – Made from heat-treated, aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum alloy, this gray fidget pen feels sturdy yet lightweight and balanced for everyday writing. The twisted barrel texture provides secure tactile feedback without feeling sharp or uncomfortable. Finely machined threads, smoothly buffed edges and a professional metal appearance make it suitable for office meetings, classroom study, journaling, note-taking and regular desk use.
- DUAL-FIDGET BOLT ACTION & TOP SPINNER – The pen combines a spring-loaded bolt mechanism with a smooth decision spinner, offering two engaging hand motions while thinking, listening or brainstorming. The bolt extends and retracts the tip with a controlled action that helps prevent ink marks inside bags and notebooks. The low-noise top spinner turns freely without interfering with writing, providing a more discreet desk activity than repeatedly clicking a conventional pen.
- SPIN FOR A LIGHTHEARTED DECISION PROMPT – Flick the top and let the spinner land on an answer such as YES or NO when choosing between casual everyday options, starting conversations or taking a quick desk break. Its balanced movement is easy to operate and visually engaging without making the pen look like a children’s toy. The decision spinner is intended for entertainment only and should not be used for financial, medical, legal, safety-related or other important decisions.
- 0.5 MM BLACK INK & COMPATIBLE WITH PILOT G2 REFILLS – The included fine-point black ink refill supports smooth writing for notes, lists, journals and office tasks. When the ink runs out, unscrew the pen, remove the used cartridge and insert a compatible with Pilot G2 gel refill, which is widely available online and in many stores. The refillable design combines a familiar writing experience with distinctive spinning and bolt action features for work, study or home.
- GIFTABLE DESIGN, NO CLIP & SIMPLE CARE – The gray metal finish, spiral texture, decision spinner and bolt action make FSM649 a distinctive Valentine’s Day, Easter, birthday, graduation or office gift for students, teachers, designers, engineers, writers and fidget enthusiasts. IMPORTANT: This model has no pocket clip, so carry it in a pen loop, pouch or organizer. The bolt is pre-glued; apply thread-locking adhesive only if it loosens. Light lubrication can help maintain smooth action.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone loves this pen
*by T***S on November 5, 2025*

This pen is great for my endless fidgeting. The spinner on it is so smooth, it has almost no friction, and it's so satisfying to sit and endlessly spin. I use it all the time at work when I'm talking to people, I just sit and spin the top and it helps me focus. I've had several coworkers, including a supervisor, ask me about it. I always hand it over to them and it's always instant memorization with a request for the link so they can buy one. The offset click to activate the pen itself can also be used as a fidget device as well as being a really cool way to keep the pen from not opening or closing when you don't want it to. I love being able to have my fidget toy be my pen without being noisy and obnoxious like the normal clicking and unclicking when using a standard pen, it's subtle, easy to keep in my pocket, and I don't have to carry another fidget toy around. The spinning does make noise, but it's much quieter and less annoying than a constant "click CLICK, click CLICK". The pen housing itself is super solid. The entire thing is metal. This pen is heavy compared to other pens. It makes it very satisfying to hold and it feels like it will take a beating. My only two complaints about this pen are the ink and the lack of a clip to hook it to something. I usually clip my pens to a notebook, the inside of my pocket, or my shirt, and this pen has no clip to do that, so I'm afraid that eventually I'm going to lose it. The ink that came included with the pen worked great the first few times I used it and then froze up and stopped working but the fact that it can easily be swapped out for refills made it not a big deal. I got a pack of G2 refills, which is my favorite ink anyway, and swapped that into it, and now it's like combining my two favorite pens and getting the best of both worlds. One star taken off for the lack of a clip and the need to swap ink, but even so, I'd highly recommend this pen. I even bought a second one to give as a gift to a friend who is always fidgeting.
