She had Never fed him sheep feed. Only Alfalfa pellets. He developed crystals in his urine that blocked him up and when I first got the ram, I had to go to the vet. Putting a sheep under anesthesia is a delicate and possibly fatal endeavor. While I do feed (alternately) with a sheep/goat feed that has Ammonium Chloride, my Vet recommended this product to prevent any issues with my male sheep.
