**Q: I received mine today, but it binds as i spin it.  the two pieces do not appear concentric. anyone else experience this? not sure oil will help.**
A: If it spins when not screwed down it’s good
If it doesn’t spin when screwed down put washer spacers between it and mounting surface
That will solve the scraping problem

**Q: It totally sucks washers work but it screams like hell when turning it any one else have a lot of noise**
A: YES.  I bought 11 of these for tabletop lazy susans for Christmas gifts.  They're all very noisy.  I used washers.  I waxed them.  I added oil to the bearings.  I'm pretty disgusted.

**Q: Does it support 500 Fahrenheit?**
A: I would say NO. That is pretty hot for the ball bearings and lubricant.

**Q: Does this need a base?**
A: No. But a washer will be needed to allow rotation to move freely.
