You have the ability to spread the width of the sprinkler, as well as control length of coverage, using the orange tabs for adjustment. It covers an impressively large area. You can also control the flow, which make this device versatile. CONS: the coloring tends to fade, especially if you live in a sunny state like I do here in South Florida. While I appreciate the fact that I can rotate the sprinkler in many different directions, the shaft of rotation is a bit flimsy and tilts slightly to the left or right. You will need to anchor it down level to ensure that it sprays the exact area that you are trying to cover. I have had it for over a year and so far it is holding up and performing well, but its long-term durability remains to be seen Overall, it is a great sprinkler for the price.
