This product provided a fairly fast charge to my iPad after fully charging the unit on household 120 volts. In an emergency this will be more than adequate if its charge is maintained.The flashlight is very bright and has two flashing modes to compliment a steady on function. In the manual - "The solar panel is only for emergency LED light." one hour of solar charging provides one hour of LED light.
