**Q: How does the clip attach to screen enclosure beams?**
A: It simply clips onto the beam and holds onto it as the sides compress against the beam. I use them to hold up my skimmer pole

**Q: Would this be able to hold a plant such as a fern?**
A: I would say no as they would slip down and or come off right away. I use them to hold a pool skimmer and that seems to be a decent use for them but for plants I would not recommend this.

**Q: How much weight will this support?**
A: It's pretty sturdy. It is made for the pole to brush or sweep the pool. Works good for what it is designed for.
