I've noticed that it's really effective at preventing acne and is pretty gentile in exfoliating my skin. However, it does lack effectiveness for more severe, larger acne, but is perfect for breakouts. I use a AHA body cream along with this, and this combo reduced my body acne by over 90% with semi-regular usage. If you're new to skincare, I strongly recomend this with a really good moisturizer.
