I'd get one or two in place and with the next clip the first would fall out. (the "twist into place" technique and the "slide along the groove" technique and the "remove the rail, apply the valance" technique did NOT work). I finally watched a video that demonstrated what worked. Because there was so little clearance between the window frame and the top of the blind support rail, I had to open the hinges on the rail brackets, slide the rail partially out, first on one end then the other as I hung the clips at proper intervals (making sure to clear the mechanism and cords). After slipping the clips into position I closed the hinges on both sides. Then I held the valance in the proper position and starting at the center I'd use a firm pressing motion to "snap" the clip into the groove on the valance. I'd proceed to next clip on one side and then the other side until eventually reaching the ends. I had concern at first that the clip's fragile looking points would break off, but they didn't, even though I sometimes had to sort of slap the valance to get the clip to pop into the groove. Once I got the technique down all went well. All valances are continuing to hold and no clips broke during installation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get the right size *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2021* These are easy to install, best is to find an old one to get the right size. I watched some videos online which made the installation of the wood valance very quick with these pegs attached to the back ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than original *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019* My original valance clips cracked and I remember them being hard to install. These clips are inexpensive and actually seem to fit better than the original ones. (Super easy fit) The valance sits closer to the blind and is at a better level for hiding the hardware. Overall, I love them. Thought I would have some extra for later, now I'm going to replace all of the older ones.
