The paper is a good thickness and each page is printed on one side, which makes it nice not to have to worry about wasting any pages. I also hate the coloring books with both sides printed because I don't like coloring on the left-side page, even if it hasn't been compromised by coloring the other side of it. It has nice perforation for tearing out pages without ripping, too. Maybe I shouldn't mention this but I like to rip out all the pages as soon as I get a new coloring book and scan them, that way I can color the same image as many times as I want. With my memory, in a few months it'll all be new to me anyway! This book though has nice wide inner margins so not only do you avoid coloring inside the crack, I didn't have to rip out any pages to scan the whole book, yay! The video is just leafing through to give you an idea of what the pictures are like. I didn't go through the whole book because I didn't want to show the ones I've colored. I use Pan Pastels for the large areas such as gardens and fields. This product makes great looking gardens and pastures. This book is designed for experienced colorists. The first picture, I colored with Prismacolor. The second pic, I colored with Marco Raffine. And the third picture, I colored with Lelix colored pencils. All colored pencils are available here on Amazon. This coloring book was done by Teresa Goodridge and I really enjoy her work. I also have her "Summer Scenes" coloring book as well as her "Winter Wonderland" coloring book; both by Creative Haven.
