It has a dog bone design on the front of it? It appears a bit small for a large cat to use but for a small to medium size cat it will work. I am unsure however, what will happen if they put their claws through it only time will tell. I got it for use with a kitten who is growing quickly. I got the soft box so I could fit it in an unusual space since it was flexible. My partner was a bit skeptical about the use that we would give it. I cannot recommend it enough! It is two years down the line and the box is still in pristine condition. And we use it ALL the time. It is sturdy and easy to clean. When the sand is in, one can also transport it by lifting the whole box by the handles. It somehow folds easily, keeping the sand inside.
