Once set up, no worries. Review: These ones aren't POE - I've moved all our lighting to these adapters. I use them with QLC+ mostly, in both single and multiple universes. They are really good performers. Once the IP is set on them, they are pretty much straight forward to use. I like they SO much better than the USB ->DMX adapters. Ethernet locks in. Since FOH usually has a network cable, most of these adapters I just put up in the truss or near the light stands and just run a piece of ethernet to them right on the network with our audio and other computers.
