If they're in Celsius, how can I change them to Fahrenheit?** A: You can switch it back & forth with the press of a button & there are instructions with it on how to do so. Its nice, all the tips are kept together, it feels good in the hand & operates good & smooth, doesn’t take up much space, & heats up quickly. You do have to wait a little bit for the tip to cool down if you need to change to another tip, or you could use heat safe gloves & change it, so that’s not really an issue. Overall, for the price you're paying you're getting a great unit that'll keep your workflow steady. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bit better than average for the price, but not great *by K***R on January 11, 2026* Been using this for two years. It works fine and has some nice things about it, but is not great. Most of the 5 spare tips work well (WEP #1400 Soldering Iron Tips are compatible with T18 and 900M tips but not ST tips). The iron heats fast and the memory settings work well, but it may take a little while for the tip to reflect the setting temperature. I recommend following the instructions to verify the C/F setting by holding the plus key and turning it on (mine was set to F). The tip cleaner and the sponge compartment are awesome and make it really easy to keep the tips clean. The lead free solder wire and especially the solder wire holder are ineffective inclusions. The desoldering pump and tweezers are nice to haves, but are odd choices given the kit does not come with flux or desoldering braid. The tip storage is handy but its location is fixed on the right side. Unfortunately, the lamp/magnifier is also fixed and the neck is way, WAY too short to get up and over the helping hands. That is a shame since it's actually a pretty nice glass, complete with LED on/off switch. The hands on the helping hands unfortunately don't rotate, so you have to twist the arms, and the arm mounts are too far back, limiting their reach. Hence, the best way to mount the helping hands is to use the mount on the top-left and the unobvious mount on the left-side, and not the mount on the top-right. This will enable the helping hands to be closer together and be able to stretch further away from the unit, but may require rearranging your workspace. Like most stations at this price point, the biggest issue I have is the station just feels kind of awkward to use, and I ended up getting a separate helping hands work plate, which kind of defeated the purpose of getting a kit with hands and a lighted mag.
