This allows a touch of color. Plus it makes a statement. A couple buttons don't line up, even though the description states Compatible. This is not a game changer for me, but may be for some. Look at your lap top keys and make sure they match both sides of the space bar. A couple of the buttons may be miss labeled on the cover as keys. Still love protecting the keys and keeping it clean.
