I looked online to find a stuffed animal that represented him. This dog looked the closest to Aksel that we could find. Upon receiving this, I hugged it and cried, missing my boy so much. I would say that this dog is fluffier than the picture shown. The picture looks like it has shorter hair. This dog is very soft, like my Aksel. We used to call him the velveteen Labrador. This dog is a good size, much like a puppy, but not huge. I will treasure him in memory of Aksel. I would highly recommend this as a gift for children or adults who may have lost a special pet, or just as a companion stuffed animal.
