Haven't used it on that boat yet, engine issues, but I have used it on the boats I build. Quite impressive performance numbers.Little back round, I work for a flats boat mfg in central Florida. We build 17 to 22 ft flats and bay boats with 90 to 250 hp outboards from Mercury. I'm the head electrician and vessel tester. I studied boat performance under a master of boat performance. He was the first man to go over 100mph in a boat and holds 7 world records to his name and the boats he used to build. That being said, I feel comfortable to give an honest review of this prop.To start, I tested on a 20ft center console with a brand new 150 ProXS, 2 people, 12 gallons of gas and no extra gear on board. The baseline was done with Powertech 14in 19° 4 blade SS on and flat calm lake at about 70°.The first run did well about in line with previous runs with this boat and motor combo, top speed 44mph at 5750rpm engine trim at 25 and jack plate at 2.5 in. Then we tried a Quicksilver 14in 23° 4 blade alum prop. Gained rpms but lost speed, 5900 and 41mph, trim and jack plate the same.Now we put on the Turning point 14in 19° 4 blade SS. One word "WOW". The hole shot was very impressive, was up on plane in only 5 to 7 seconds all the way to 43mph top end. Rpms dropped to 5300 which is huge. Trim was 20 to 25 but the jack plate was up to 3.5in.That is the trick to a Turning point wheel. You can put the same size as your current wheel and drop rpms and only lose a mile or 2 an hour. I guess the people that complain about this don't understand the concept of for every 200 RPM you lose you need to go up a degree in pitch to get it back. So by my back of envelope math with a 23° wheel I should get back to 5700 to 5800 RPM and 47 to 48 mph.No matter what, Turning point makes a really impressive prop for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be using this on my boat, once it's fixed. Now I just have to convince my boss to go with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Express 4 SS prop is awesome *by R***R on August 11, 2020* I'm really happy with the performance of this Turning Point boat prop. I paired up the Express 4 blade 14"x19P on a boat that weighs about 4,000lbs gassed up and loaded, with the new 4.5L V6 Mercruiser 250hp. It is a very good middle of the road, cruising prop. My hole shot might be slightly better and I still have about a 48mph top end over the aluminum 14.5"x19P prop the boat came with. Mid-range cruising is awesome and the prop has more punch at mid-range cruising speeds. It provides good bow lift and really does a great job at keeping the boat hooked up to the water. If I did more pulling with tubes and wake boards I would consider a 17P prop. You really need to do some research when looking at a new prop and the Prop Wizard on Turning Points’ website really makes some good recommendations and helps you weed props down to something that will work for you. I highly recommend a SS prop over any aluminum prop and I’m very happy with the Turning Point prop. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Vibration *by S***K on March 15, 2025* Heavy prop.
